Wild for owls!

Second graders are busy collaging owls out of wall paper. Kindergarten is learning to trace, cut, paste and we even had them do hand prints for their wings! Everyone is having fun in art today :)

1st Grade has a Bad Case of Stripes

A big thanks to all our CRES parents who sent in watercolor sets to get us started! We broke them out today so that first graders could enhance their beautiful stripped portraits.

Online Student Art Gallery!!!!!

Hello parents! I am here to tell you that CRES officially has an ARTSONIA account up and running! What is ARTSONIA you ask? Only the greatest thing since sliced bread! But seriously...
Artsonia is an online student art gallery where you, family, and friends may go online and view your students artworks! AND it doesn't stop there!
Artsonia is also a means of fundraising for the art classroom! How? Glad you asked!
You may purchase your little artist's artwork on any item available in the artsonia store. For example, would you like to use your child's art for note cards? on a t-shirt for grandma? on a mug? a maganet? It doesn't stop there! 20% of your purchase will go back into a fund for your child's art teacher (Ms. Golen and I,) so that we can purchase more supplies for our art classrooms! This is really a win win for everyone involved! Check it out for yourselves, just click the "artsonia" tab at the top of the blog.

Thanks for reading and happy art viewing!
